Mosquitoes don't live in your grass. They rest in the shade.
Adult mosquitoes spend most of the day hiding on the underside of leaves, in shrubs, along fence lines, and in damp shaded corners of your yard. They come out to bite at dusk and return to those same resting spots when the sun gets strong.
Our treatment goes where the mosquitoes go. We apply a residual barrier to those resting zones — leaf undersides, dense shrubs, shaded landscape beds, the base of trees, under decks. When a mosquito lands, it picks up the treatment. Populations drop, fast.
What we use
We use EPA-registered residential barrier products. These are the same class of products approved for use around homes, playgrounds, and schools when applied correctly. We apply them precisely, using backpack misters at low volume — not broadcast sprays across your whole lawn.
- Targeted: shaded resting areas, not the open lawn where kids play.
- Low volume: enough to create a barrier, not to drench the property.
- Residual: continues working for weeks after application.
Safety — the straight story
The product is wet for about 30 minutes after application. Once dry, the yard is safe for kids and pets to use normally. Your technician will tell you exactly what was applied and when you can go back outside.
Pollinators
We avoid treating flowering plants. We don't mist open blooms or areas where bees are actively foraging. Timing matters too — morning and evening applications minimize contact with pollinators at peak activity. We treat what needs treating, and we leave the rest alone.
Water features
We don't apply near ponds, rain barrels, or actively filled bird baths. Where standing water is part of your yard, we'll flag it and talk through what's safe.
How long does it last?
A single treatment typically delivers several weeks of significant mosquito reduction. Heavy rain shortly after application can shorten that window. If you get a big storm within 24 hours of your first treatment, call us — we'll make it right.
For consistent coverage across the whole summer, our Full Season Program schedules treatments every few weeks so protection never dips.
Application day — what to expect
- Arrival text: Your technician texts when they're on the way.
- Walk-through: They check property access, note areas to avoid (water features, pet toys, kid equipment).
- Treatment: Targeted application of resting zones takes 20–40 minutes for a typical lot.
- All-clear text: Confirmation when treatment is complete, with an estimated re-entry time.
You don't need to be home. As long as we can access the yard, we can treat it.
